It was packed, just not nearly what it was last year. Or, I am getting use to the crowds here now  I only went to try La Vie en Rose (meh) and OOOH Fudge (diacetyl bomb). Oh well. I am sure they will still have Live Oak Schwarzer Rauch, which is which is what I should have gone with anyway (stupid hype even gets me). Cause I am sure that is great like everything else they do.

It was a lot of fun. I had La Vie en Rose, 2012 Abyss, La Folie, and 2007 Stone IRS and had a sip of 2005 Old Guardian and Firestone 17. I'll be looking forward to next year.

Certainly was as crowded as last year. Good beers and enjoyable atmosphere.

Couldn't agree more, and IRS is one of my favorite beers. It's falling apart and really one dimensional now.

So people are actually surprised a near 7 year old beer is falling off:astonished: IRS with a few years is very good, but this is not something like JW Lees, or original Thomas Hardy. Most beers don't last forever. My 09 Bourbon Counties are starting to fall off.

I expected it... just wanted people to know buyer beware. Older isn't always better.
