So I finally decided to take down the whale in my cellar. Shared with the wife who is trying to get interested in craft mainly due to my obsession. Her review was simply, "mmm, this is good". I fully agreed with that assessment and just gave it my second rating of 5 in BA (shout out to @Pipeworks on Square Grouper for my first 5 - 2015 can't get here soon enough!)

This is the best coffee stout I've had, hands down. Not to knock KBS but this is much, much better, it makes KBS seem thin and watery.I like that the coffee is integrated into the overall flavor profile and doesn't take over. I still get the really great bourbon notes.

Storms a brewing. So is this Pride & Joy. That didn't make much sense. When in Rome, I love lamp.
    I'll shut up, cheers!

No pictures, but I'm enjoying a glass or two (or 3) of CCB Hopped on the High Seas.

Love this two things like head brewer from Alchemist says "drink up you may be dead tomorrow" my personal favorite "this isn't a dress rehearsal".

I agree that it's a kick ass stout, but disagree it was that expensive.
$15 for a beer of that caliber is a steal, compared to many others out there.

Anyway, I'm glad you're drinking some stellar beer on this day. Cheers!

First bottle of Holey Moley clone. Since I've never been to the alchemist I can't say if it's close, but I can say it's tasty beer.

By far the easiest drinking 11% DIPA (or TRIPA?) I've had. Good stuff:

One of my locals outs out a beer every year as fund-raise for the local St. Pat's day parade, and to benefit our local First Responders. This year, it's also the first beer they've ever put into cans. I am currently enjoying my first ever CAN of Boundary Bay, the Irish Red! and, they're just about ready to get this race started:

Stoked to try thus one. Tastes great but it reminds me of other Stone beers. Not really any more grapefruity than other IPAs.

Just got off work and it's a perfect 71* outside. Decided to cracker Laurelwoods workhorse IPA this afternoon. It's very good, fruity on the nose....first flavor I get is almost a orange slightly lemon hit with a hop bomb at the end.

What's the date on that one? I got some of the 1/28s and they were in solid B+ territory.
