No its not, unless waiting twice as long as they tell you and dealing with rude staff makes it your go to place.

beginning of the fest sucked as we got there before the line even got past the arcadia food truck and didnt get in until almost one even as enthusiast members.. will call was worthless and was held up about 30 minutes because the long orange extension cord was unplugged and they couldnt figure it out.. and after that they sent us to the end of the line and made us wait an unnecessary amount of time as GA until finally saying the guild members line was empty and that we should go to the front of the line if we were early entry before it was too late..

had a blast though.. carrot cake was a bit of a let down for me and im even the biggest shorts fan-boy.. ypsilambic was my favorite.. had around 24oz of that alone.


will bang again but summer fest is better..

 

Founders' taplist at the brewery right now is way better than what they had at the beer fest.

 

Missed the fest this year unfortunately but made it to Livery and had a couple boss pours of Verchuosity GR which was great. Heard it only lasted 15 min at the fest. Bourbon Carrot Cake didn't get too many great reviews from what I saw on Untappd. That's the beer I wanted to try the most.

 

I know you were probably kidding, but it was still nice to get 4pks of Backwoods off the shelf there. Traded my last 4pk away, so this was a nice score!

 

Honestly, I wasn't. Panther Cub and the Barleywine were far more interesting to me than all of the stuff at the fest that I've had many times over.

 

Welp, it's 2 am and I already got a full nights sleep. I wish the festival was a bit later in the evening.

 

Little hazy this morning, but properly paced/hydrated/ate/etc., so I really, really enjoyed myself. What an amazing event. Great to see some fellow BAs and non-BAs alike. Can't wait until next year!

P.S. Our Brewing's Tobacconist Porter was the surprise of the event for me. Terrific.

 

Btw - my buddy dropped his phone around the Shorts booth and two girls picked it up and took a couple pics of themselves with it (which was backed up to Google+). I had 48 different. Managed to forget to eat all day. Will update later.

 

I still smell like campfire.. wish I would've kept better track of what we had. While.in the longer lines we'd take turns branching out to the smaller lines..

 

I didnt go, but went afterwards for the partys..Founders rocked..real nice tap list...First time I had the BA Spite Serrano and thought it was fantastic...Of course panther cub was really good..stellas sucked..smelled like ass in there, and when I got there around 7ish of course BBPT5, Sarsaparilla 666, and Where the Wild things Mascarate were not on.so just had a double crooked tree...So left and went to the fest afterparty at 5th 3rd..

 

I had a good time as always. I am very proud of myself for how well I paced myself. I have been in the office for a couple of hours and have been very productive. Highlight of the day for me was coffee dragonsmilk. I'm not even sure it was on the official list.

 

Anybody else feel sorry for the peeps in tennis shoes? Next time instead of breaking up the ice they should've left it alone.

 

Nice to see the folks I did from BA. I think that was the first WBF where the sun came out.

Some of my favorites from the day were Wtich's Hat Night Fury Espresso w/ cocoa nibs, Kuhnhenn Blueberry Eisbock, Jolly Pumpkin Yuzu, and Short's Bourbon Carrot Cake.
