Random day trip to visit friends I am working in turning into a beer trip. Plan on hitting sail fish brewery. Any good local stores to pick up bottles or any other beer BA places to hit???
Ft. Pierce is a beer wasteland for the most part, aside from Sailfish... There are a few more options 30 minutes south in Jensen Beach/Stuart area.
Here's my beer map of the east coast of FL going north to south: Jacksonville-surf instead of drink-Ft. Lauderdale.
Drive down to the House of Brews in Jensen Beach. Easily worth the drive, 69 taps all craft. Tons of bottles. It's 10 minutes from PSL if that. You wont be sorry.
Hit Vine and Barley in PSL. Stop in everytime I go down to the Treasure Coast. Also, the recommendation of House of Brews is spot on. There was another bar, not far from Sailfish we hit this past summer, name escapes me. In the nice section of Downtown Ft. Pierce. Big place with a decent tap list.
in laws bought a condo near Ft. Piece.. but didn't really have time to explore while we were there for a weekend... next time i'll have to try and check some of these places out
I think the place you're talking about is 2nd Street Bistro.... (or some street Bistro, I can't remember the street #)
