factor in that it's getting distributed - well, both. I did have a harder time finding Nelson showers than Citra showers. Where as I'm seeing Melrose all over the place.

Lookin fwd to having a glass or two. Noble has made my transition from SD to Orange County slightly less painful.

Thats a big change! But it's getting better here in LA/OC (Bottle Logic, Noble, Beachwood's, Boot, Bruery, etc.)

Agreed. I'd include Valiant, and hopefully say the same for Hoparazzi. The 57/91 area has great potential.

Oh yes. Forgot Valiant (which I forgot is closed on "Sundays"). Why Sundays? Then we have El Segundo, "Smog" City, Strand (okay), Monkish and more in the works. And I cant leave out my soon to be neighbor Beach City Brewery (which I'm hoping for good things coming out of here).

Hopefully they will have their place up and running soon. LA/OC beer scene is just getting started.

Don't forget Phantom. Also Barley Forge is supposed to open in Costa Mesa sometime in the near future. Here's hoping Valiant expands production and the amount of days that the tasting room is open.

Their Double Trunk DIPA is a complete booze bomb.

Will there still be bottles at Noble on Friday?

Just left and I can't agree more. Evan had been crushing it lately but 2 out of 3 aint bad. Two and done on this one. Just not that great to be honest. Maybe 100% Amarillo isn't my thing. Its a well made beer but after the last two SUPER brews this pales in comparison.

    Cheers,

Agreed. Will find out tonight how it is out of the bottle, but I likely won't be boarding this one like the other two

I will go a step further and say Amarillo Showers is pretty bad. Had a pour tonight at Noble ... started off OK, but by the time I finished the glass I was choking it down. $9 per bottle also ... they should get over themselves a bit.

Noble was packed though ... they did hit a grand slam with Bean Bump.

and $3 for a taster pour. This one definitely was off the mark for me and I thought I loved Amarillo (most recent Chasin Freshies featured Amaraillo, no?). Bought one bottle as a reference but the taster wasn't compelling.
