    My god man, unless you're getting hammered everytime you drink it's no big deal. I'd venture I haven't gone more than 3 days without a beer since about 1990, and probably several years with at least one a day.

    it all comes down to health. everyone's body is different. if people drink a lot and don't have social problems from it, they should just talk to their doctor and see what works for them.

    that said, overconsumption is definitely a problem in craft beer, but honestly i think that's more because health is not a huge priority for most people. health education should be enhanced, but it's not like this is specific to alcohol awareness. to put it another way, i bet most craft beer consumers who drink too much for their own health probably eat a lot worse than they drink.
