Peruvian Morning in TC

It is out there, my store out here near Albertville has it.

Though, it sounds that it may be infected again as some people are reporting it being pulled from the selves.

Picked some up at Princetons in MG today

 

Though Peruvian has a spotty history the last two releases, I would put this in the "rumour" column for the moment. I find it hard to believe an infection is showing up at the same time the brewery is still shipping the beer. I bought a case at the Anniversary Party & it's about half gone, nothing put pure happy to this point.

I hope it's not infected again, because I love this beer.

 

I had a bottle last night that tasted a little off. I have 3 more 4pks all I can say is you better drink them fast.

Why does this beer always have issues but no issues with Bourbon Barrel Stout?

 

Can you provide any more details? Did this just happen? Dammit. I look forward to this one every year.

I've always wondered what their process for adding the coffee is. Seems like that'd be the only obvious difference.

 

Seconded. I bought a few four packs at the Anni party as well, and nearly drank all of them already. Each was exactly as expected: awesome. I picked up some more at Princeton's yesterday, and I'm drinking on of those ones now--you know, for science--and its pure bliss.

 

Do not take this as fact as I read it in a thread on these forums. It was mentioned that CW adds the coffee when the beer goes into the barrel and it is aged on the beans the entire time it is in the barrel.

I hate this thread. I feel like have a terrorist sleeper cell in my damn cellar.

So--in the name of science--we are having ourselves a Peruvian Morning drinking party. I can say, so far we've had four. Each from a different four-pack. Two of the four-packs came from CW at the Anni party, the other two were purchased yesterday locally.

None are infected. All taste awesome. I'm going to continue getting faded for science. You are welcome.

 

I'm drinking this year's right now. If this is infected you should all ship it to immediately. I don't want anyone drinking bad beer!

Ha Ha...always the funny reply to this post...every year!!! Unfortunately this may now be a third year in a row, and I won't be buying any...got burned on Peruvian 2 years in a row , and on cherry last year( which was a bear to get). CW needs to figure this out or discontinue this beer...
