Slightly bummed the bottle limit switched, but understandable. I got one at least!

They may have delayed the bpt sale on purpose to mess with people in line trying from phones. The newsletter said he would be trying to stop double dips. I bet that $100 bottle tastes great though.

Me and my buddies got ours ($100 ea), never saw the $50 for sale. The more pricier the better it tastes...lol

did anyone get the $50 bottles? i had had the option for a $100 bottle but decided i'd rather have 5 alesmith jamaican coffee stouts instead. very cool of Ivan to do give people the option for this rather than wait in line

Got through on the 50$ bottles. $100 showed up first for some reason, refreshed and then the $50 showed up.

I'm pretty surprised that those sold out that fast. I thought the $50 would be gone and the $100 might linger a while.

It never rained after like 1am, actually nice all night.

I'm not, some people have way too much disposable income.

Was going to buy at $50 which I thought was pretty steep, could have got it at $100 but thought that was not reasonable. I hope marking bottles up to amounts like that does not become the new norm.

There's gotta be some major brewers out there looking at this and starting to realize just how much profit they are leaving on the table by undercharging for their exclusive high-demand beers. It seems in the craft beer industry there is some stigma about charging what the market will bear for the product. What other industry does that? I think brewers are going to catch on.

Like in the Citra thread KRBCEric was saying how their IPA is more profitable than Citra…well (and admittedly I am no business man so what do I know…) but if they charged double the price for Citra, which they could do, maybe they could afford to make twice as often AND make a few extra bucks. Who knows though, maybe there is hidden value in the hype/buzz generated by long lines, lottery sales, and in brand loyalty due to low prices that I'm not accounting for.

If Lost Abbey sees this guess DDG will be around $130 a bottle, with $90 of that going to charity *cough*

Laughed when I read this, then immediately went to the trade forum. Already littered with CFH offerings.

I think part of CA's trading issues are that everyone is so eager to get rid of great, hard-to-get beers. Midwesterners buy shelf beer and keep it out of the forum until it has reached the value of unobtainium.

Let the ISO's come to you. Or better yet, drink the beer.
