this is just my opinion (Gerrit) but Amarillo is tied with Square Grouper as the best beer we've made (hoppy-wise).... I'm really loving it... we made a slight tweak to the malt base that I think paid off and we'll carry that forward with future batches of Citra as well.

so it's cool to hear the feedback reflect what we think as well.

(also, lol citra is the supporting hop in Amarillo, =p)

would love to Mike but this whole 10,000 new breweries in the US thing is kinda fucking us... our simcoe on our contract mysteriously disappeared too...

    February 28, 2014 Update

    NEW! Catch of a Lifetime
This dry saison brewed with sweet, bright Meyer lemons and chamomile, was made in celebration of the wedding between Carl (a cool dude who knows how to sling some insanely fresh fish) and the lovely Jaimie. We're hooked on it. Now, we're not just casting you a line here, chamomile and saison yeast are a perfect marriage, and the Meyer lemons add to the al-luring bouquet. Our most (in)sincerest apologies for all the crappie fish puns.
    $9.99, 25.4 oz, 8% ABV

    Coffee Break Abduction
"Oh you silly, silly, foolish humanoids. You think you can escape the star pairing of vanilla and coffee from local roasters Ipsento in our rich imperial stout? You think you can try one sip of this velvety brew and not turn your glass into a black hole? See, if you can avoid this flavor invasion! I am receiving a message from the mothership. Ugh, fine, I'll accept the charges. What is this you say? This batch of Coffee Break Abduction, is out of this world? Excellent. Muhahaha! End transmission" - an alien
    $10.99, 22oz, 10.5% ABV

    Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn
This batch of our double IPA brewed with over 5 pounds of hops per barrel is really tasting great. In this batch we've added some El Dorado hops which are really complimenting the Citra and Simcoe for a citrusy, bright, and herbaceous brew. As always, drink early drink often.
    $9.99, 22oz, 8.5% ABV

Catch of a Lifetime and Coffee Break were distributed today so please call ahead to confirm that they are in the system for purchase at both locations before making a trip.

Dang that's crappy, same thing when I was dealing with getting contracts for citra when i was at Ltl, and it doesn't help DFH and SA buy like half. Hey, the Deustche hopfen was nice.

The Continental.... Scotch ale brewed with walnuts now that sounds really cool just because I like walnuts and Scotch ale . I just can't imagine how that will taste.
