Really excited for this, especially with the switch to 12 oz bottles.

I said this as soon as it came out. It didn't make sense to call a beer "perpetual" then not have it about all the time. Besides, it's soooo good. I'm beyond ecstatic that a beer of this quality is going to be available year round here. Instant go to beer.

I have not had any Perpetual IPA, but this sounds like great news to me. Can't wait to try it!

I read this the other day, this is GREAT news! Perpetual was awesome, I absolutely loved it. I remember thinking this is exactly what Troegs needs to fill their void for a year-round IPA. I think I'd even go as far as saying I like it more than Nugget Nectar, but it's not a competition, NN is great.. but there was something really special and unique about Perpetual.. it was like a blend of westcoast, midwest, and eastcoast IPAs..

Put me down in the great news camp. I think they were having a laugh with the name "Perpetual" being a one-off and the fact that "imperial pale ale" isn't a style. Regardless, I really enjoyed the beer, and can't wait have it be easily accessible in reasonably priced format. Especially looking forward to trying it on draft.

Totally agree! I've been saying too that Troegs needed a year round IPA to really pep up their every day line up....and this does it for sure!

Great, great, great news, I can't wait to have a sixtel on tap at home to enjoy. I also agree with the poster above me, great Monday morning news.

Hear, hear. What I love(d) about this beer is that Tröegs made it the right size / strength—I've posted about this before, but I believe there's an ABV sweetspot somewhere between 7-8.5% for the hoppy-pale spectrum of beers. It encompasses so many of the best IPAs and smaller DIPAs, all of which are light, dry, drinkable, not boozy, and hoppy as hell. Also, I think that Tröegs is one of the few breweries that actually pays close attention to the malt in their hoppy beers—just because it's pale doesn't mean it has to be plain (looking at you, West Coast stereotypes), and just because it's hoppy doesn't mean it has to be sweet (looking at you, East Coast stereotypes).

Perpetual's awesome. If they put it at ≤$12/ sixer, I'm a happy man.

Sorry, 1/2 kegs only to start as our 1/6 keg inventory is stretched thin. One day probably but not for a while.

Good news and pretty much a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. As someone who doesn't have access to Troeg's here in CT....I have noticed and said to myself on a few occasions that they didn't have an ipa in rotation while I was in other states making beer runs.Look 4ward to this.

    Cheers All.....

Good news. Here though, IMO, freshness is so critical, because that beer tastes likes cat piss with 2 months on it. The bane of Citra's creation.
