    Kernel Brown Ale not as sweet as I thought it would be more chicory and dry roast flavours.
    Is this a "grown up" version of a Broon?

    La Chouffe IPA clone homebrew, only one week old, testing it to see if the whole 18 gallon batch will be a drain pour. ( changed up my brewing method) I think it will pass the test and avoid the drain.

    18 gallons? That's impressive

    I'm only doing 15l batches at the moment whiich I guess is about 4 US gallons .

    The Rocky Head had that stomach acid/ rancid spew element that Shityard IPA has
    real disappointment since bottle conditioned from microbrewery & coast twelvety pounds.

    I hate finishing a night on a below par beer
    even though have to be up for work in the morning
    opening Beavertown Gamma Ray
    a step down in strength by abv %
    but hopefully a step up in flavour strength.

    De Ranke Noir de Dottignes, have yet to come across a De Ranke beer I don't like. Must visit brewery again, last time was at 10:00am on a Sunday probably the best way to start the day

    reminds me of the genuine Cuban havana my friend Faisal gave me as a gift
    really rich smoke, really deep flavour.

    sitting here in Sweet Home Alabama sipping on a Samuel Smith Winter Welcome. Truly delicious. Looking forward to supping on pint after pint of cask in Edinburgh later this week, and in Kent next week :slight_smile:
