Was hanging out at Steamworks today. A new collab brew from them and New Belgium coming, a golden ale, with chilis, szechuan pepper corns, and something called brett?... Oh ya, and the Brassneck collab they did is fantastic! Smokey Porter coming soon. I also may have seen some barrels

I heard a rumor that Thor's Hammer may not be too far off.

Hope it's got a bit more kick and less vegetable than their last chilli beer… Excited to try it though. Peppers and Brett what?

Four winds Juxtapose brett IPA is on tap at portside right now, and it's a beauty.

Very much looking forward to the bottle release!

Any signs of Singularity in Van yet?

Not a peep yet. I'm swinging by Legacy today though so we'll see if they made a late trek over here. I would suspect it wouldn't be until the start of the week though..

Was just there. Few new TDD bottles (at crazy prices), couple of new bruery sours, and some other goodies - but no singularity.

today is the 'official' start to , http://victoriabeerweek.com/ ,

I guess the conversation/topic at tonight's Cask event might be

'where else in BC would people argue how long a beer week is'

also at little love for Hillside LS , best price point for a certain beer

Yeah the TDDs are all pretty $$$ it seems. Still gonna grab some though. Mostly Brettreuse.

Brettreuse was what I picked up. And put back when I learnt it was 28 bucks... With juxtapose on the way it's a hard sell.

Bomber's making a smoked cda... not sure if same cda mentioned above, when I spoke with them they said it involved some rauch malts. Super excited to try if that's the case.

I think I paid $24 for it at 16th. Still expensive but I understand only a few dollars more than in Quebec.

Most of the Quebec beers are marked up more than the American beers here!

Surly Brewing is coming to Vancouver! Surly Brewing is coming to Vancouver! Wait, it's Surlie? Oh...

Anyone know anything? Cool to see they're not just launching with the usual Pale, ESB, IPA, Pilsner lineup. Starting with a dark Belgian Ale.
