For real. Most stores are still sitting on mountains of Spiced Ale and Winter Warmer.

So the Thumbprint series opted not to do the IIPA .

It's $3 a bottle right now at Johnson Public House in Madison. Though they got one case so it's probably not going to last long. It was a nice treat to enjoy it during Story Slam with my wife & not having to go chasing it around Madison with Twitter announcements. I'm mostly done with that crap.

Yikes, we price it at the normal, for us at least, 11.99, since the price increase from 3F or distro. Its been coming in more regularly though, so thats cool I guess.

I've heard that the IIPA is coming back not as a thumbprint but a seasonal. If true it will be fantastic news.

While the trip is to get ZD, might as well get 1-2 day old AK also while my tats are drying!

That 5 bucks extra a 6-pk pays for my gas to Munster

Amen! - said many times that last year's NG IIPA could compete with ANY of the 95+ rated DIPA's.

I look forward to the IIPA every year and usually buy 2 or 3- 4 packs. To me it tastes like a lighter version of Founders Double Trouble. In years past I remember it being already out this time of year, so to me it looks like there won't be any.

I have no reason to question your sources, but I'd be a bit surprised if NG's pricing structure would support this. All of their 6-packs have the same SKU and therefore the same pricing. I'd be surprised if the brewery would make money on 6-packs of IIPA at $7.99.

If that beer is in 6 packs I will literally fall down and cry in front of it I would be so happy!

I know some of you think I am exaggerating but for 6.99 a 6 pack for there beer I would be the happiest I have ever been in the beer world.

I've heard the same rumor from two of my distributors. I just need that third data point now, and I'll completely believe it.

Maybe this is a good time to re-invigorate this thread.

I haven't seen ZD in Milwaukee since mid-January, and it feels like the last "substantial" (ie. You can buy more than one bottle) shipment we got was last year. But FFF has been happily sending boatloads of their meh seasonals and APA batches (Rabid Rabbit should be put out of it's misery, Man o Awe & Space Station are an absolute rip-off at $10+ a bomber) but we haven't seen a fresh batch of APW since last year. We did get some Dreadnaught bottles in earlier this year, but they're a few months old now.

Has anyone in the MKE area seen ZD on the shelves or on tap recently? Does FFF maybe rotate their distribution; maybe we'll see fresh ZD once or twice a year?

That being said (and I know this isn't a pseudoSue OP), TG is making far superior beers than FFF (with the possible exception of Permanent Funeral), and their bottles are readily available in Wisco if you are willing to travel a bit.

Notice how the ZD was sent to WI in the dead of winter? I think it sells much better in the warmer months.
