Ah yes, the woodmans babe :grinning: 1 of the reasons I prefer going to Woodmans, instead of Mars cheese castle or Brat stop

What he said. They are all sitting in barrels and not going to be ready this year.

I'm assuming Lolita, Juliet, Halia, etc may just not be ready in time for this calender year. They wouldn't drop down all the way to only one true sour after producing 4 or 5 great ones in 2013... would they?

I'm with you. I love good pales and IPA's, but variety is the spice of life.

It's because it sits, and sits, and sits. A LOT of stores in Indianapolis still had the 22oz bottles on the shelves when the new 765ml were released. Luckily my stores weren't those stores and we've sold the 2013 Lolitas pretty well.

In northern WI I have seen Pepe from 2012 and older is still sitting on the shelves, same thing here in the Houghton area.

Interesting, more Prop in 2014. Now all the chicago hoarders/truck chasers can stop overvaluing your bottles of PROP!

They announced months ago the "proprietors" variant will be permanent now, but it won't be the coconut variety again. They'll pick a new "flavor" for the proprietors every year. Proprietors will still be Chicago/Illinois only.

And they'll always be overvalued, its the COCONUT brah. Wh@lez, brah. Brah.

That sounds like a cool idea making proprietors perminant.

Proprietors was a little underwhelming experience for me. While Prop was still a fine BCBS varient, it was still a let down... I thought Coffee and Backyard rye where both much better BCBS varients this year.

I thought that Prop had a little higher bottle count than BCBVS when both beers were originally released? If that is the case, its hardly a whale... limited yes, whale not so much. People say whale too often on this site.

As mentioned Proprietors means Chicago only BC variant. It will be different every year. I heard that they have tested Vanilla/Coconut combo and also a Pepper version.

And pere and pepe will still be on the shelf in a year.

This thread made me think I never had pere before, found 2011 on the shelf and this may be one of my favorite beers now.
