I actually haven't heard much going on. Any cool events? I know Wedge and Bottle in Ahwatukee will be doing some kind of specials all week. And I assume something at Whole Foods in Chandler. Anyone hear of anything?
From Papago's Facebook: On Monday the 14th at 6pm we will be hosting three of Arizona's newest breweries from Tucson. 1702, Borderlands and Dragoon will all be here with their IPAs so come hang out with the new kids on the block. Wednesday the 16th at 6 we will have Marcus from Oskar Blues in for a koozie night. I also know that most TW locations are doing tastings, and the Whole Foods in N. Scottsdale has an Odell tasting and a Phoenix Ale dinner on the 19th. I just discovered Wedge & Bottle (no taps, just bottles--but quite nice, if $, cheese and charcuterie, and beer/wine). They're doing a tasting of 4 beers w 1/8# cheese and crackers for $5 this week.
I think Arlo from Ska will be doing something at Yucca on Thursday, and Mel, formerly of Papago-now head brewer at NOLA will be around Papago Thursday and Friday nights-nothing official-just chilling.
