I dont live in Austin. And I know a shitload of people who got Backyard, but I guess none of them live in SA. You already have one anyway! Drink that baby!!

It's tasting GREAT! But if it's true that it's "bars and restaurants only" that's BS. FYI, I live in SA and I need more.

 

btw.. san antonio peeps.. is there some bottle share group I'm not aware of? So far I've been doing a few with Adam, but it would be nice to have a bigger one.

Most of the SA people who I do bottle shares with don't post on BA much or at all anymore, except for @Grendle ....so much if the planning is done offline via text. Unless it's a Freetail release share. @jamescain used to organize a regular share at Freetail, but those haven't happened for some time and I don't think I've seen him around here lately either.

 

A lot of the OG BA SA guys don't frequent BA as much as Matt mentioned but a big SA share would be nice.

 

We just need a location that would be cool with it and go from there

 

I would be down for an SA bottle share, but no I would not want to set it up, I'm a bad planner.

 

Since I'm included in this thread I guess I'll respond. I used to do organized bottle shares and post in the SW forum but many of the new people that said they were coming never came and it was just the usual people, so it was easy to just text each other and go to someone's house rather then ask Freetail for permission to have a bottle share there, even though they never really cared. I also have mostly stopped using BA because I've, along with a lot of other people I know, have grown tired of everything that goes on in the SW forum. I'm game for a SA bottle share and I'm sure FT wouldn't mind hosting as long as someone emails them with a date and time. My only issue is that most people that say they are coming never show up, I understand things come up, but when the "new" people don't show up and it's just the regulars, we could have done it somewhere else.

 

Well I just moved to SA a couple of months ago from Austin.. it's one of those things I miss.
I mean I guess it wouldn't necessarily have to be big.. a location for a group of 10 or less would be great..
I would suggest BA houses being switched up every now and then.. but SA is big. I'm in if it's at FT, I'm on Bandera so it works for me.

 

Come have one at the brewery!
