    Yo
You should have gone later in the day. I went in around 6:00, walked upstairs to the Merch station, got a full allotment (no line), sat down to eat upstairs, and then went downstairs and sat right in front of the bar. It was busy but I never had to wait in long lines or anything.

We were there around 6:30 I want to say, and it continued to fill in the entire time. I didn't see it letting up so we ate and ran.

I went around 1:45. Walked in upstairs and was going to sit at the bar with my brother-in-law but then realized the bottle release was downstairs only. We made our way down there and got 4 bottles each as there was no line. We grabbed two barstools inside and a couple of drinks, but immediately went to the picnic tables once we saw an opening of which there were many at that point ~ 2:00. We had a few more drinks, lunch, and I went back through to get 4 more bottles before we left.

It's possible things picked back up at dinner when you were there though, the place does get busy around meal times. I could take or leave the meals though so I have only been at off lunch/dinner times and had no problem walking in and getting a seat. At any rate, it might have been packed for sitting, eating, and drinking, but you would have had no problem getting bottles. That was a completely separate area and operation from the bar downstairs and once the initial line went through that was it. After that you could just walk up and get 4 more easy.

I was very surprised there wasn't more demand. I wonder if the event in CLT had anything to do with that.

Yeah, I wondered if Black and Blue had an impact. There were a number of Charlotte folks (myself included) who sucked it up and did both. I was the 11th person in line, got my four bottles and then hopped back in the line once it was dwindling to an end. I left Asheville by about 1:30 when approximately 200 people had gone through the line. Assuming all 200 bought their four bottle allotment, that means roughly 1,200 bottles were left then. I'd bet there's at least as couple hundred still available at the brewery.

Got word from a buddy of mine who's friend was there today and offered to pick us up some bottles. So, I hope that means there's enough left

There were tons of people there but I think a lot of them were people who had been there since about 12 an had a lot to drink. If you are at Huna day I could hook you up with a bottle of Serenity just bm me.

Who would have thought Black Angel would be so soon! Guess I'll be heading back to Asheville sooner than later. Oh btw, I saw that someone picked up Serenity today, so yeah it was still around today.

I had some friends actually go up for it too (found out later) and have an offer locally, but thanks. Also, won't be making a Tampa trip since Asheville killed my wallet. I should have gone back by on my way out of town, just didn't think to.

So has this beer hit distro yet? If so is it in Charlotte and where?

It's in Charlotte and Salud received some. Not sure if it's gone yet or not but call Jason at Salud and ask.

Got to pop open a bottle last night! Awesome is all I can say. Very drinkable, great taste, dare I say refreshing? I can see why it won an award. Have some in my beer fridge in the house! They had about 200 bottles left last night, but most of the folks there felt confident they will be sold out by the weekend.

I can't wait to try this from a tap.

I went out of town for a couple days and haven't had a chance to grab any bottles yet. Sounds like if I want some, I better stop in tonight. Thanks for the update.

Damn, I'm going to be there on Saturday, was hoping they'd still have a few bottles left. Guess I'll swing by on the way into town and hope.

Any distro'd to the bottle shops in Asheville?

Heh, the Big South Basketball Tourney starts today, I seriously doubt you will find any INSIDE the brewery either.

Bottles are now available at Appalachian Vintner

if anyone is looking for a trading partner in Michigan let me know. I dont think its worth the cost of shipping to order a single bottle from the store.

If anyone was curious in the Triangle, they came and went at Beer Study in about 2 minutes.

Im pretty sure they still have them at the brewery. I have gone back a couple of times and picked some more up. I have heard that Vinter and Bruisin Ales got some, but not sure if they are still there.

I might go by the brewery to grab a couple of more tomorrow.
