Pinelands Brewing - Tuckerton, NJ

    This one flew under the radar for me.
    First Rinn Duin in Toms River, now this in Tuckerton.
    Great to see fresh and local beer popping up in Ocean County.
    Planning on a visit when I get a free Saturday.

    Soft opening was this past weekend (Sat 3/1). Any BAs stop in?

    The Beer Stained Letter website is doing a good job of keeping up with NJ's brewery openings and other brewery news - they've got a entry on the Pinelands opening.

    Finally stopped in at this place today. It was surprising busy. I think it's worth checking out. They'd had some different and interesting beers on tap.

    I was there back in the spring and then again on black Friday. I'm happy to say that the beers have improved greatly and the Evan John Porter is a great beer that can hold its own against any solid porter out there.

    Keeping with the theme of small under the radar breweries Belford Brewing in Middletown has been open for several months now as well. Easy to do Carton and Belford in the same day since they are just a few miles apart.

    I go down to Margate once every few months and have been swearing I'm going to visit these guys 'next time' for what seems like a year now. I'm definitely going next time though. I swear. Glad to see @DrStiffington getting them on the board with some beer ratings though.
