Oh my good friend, it's been way, way too long:

Drinking a DFH Burton Baton from November. And it's freaking awesome. Because it's Burton Baton, fool. This is a beer that doesn't ever go bad; it goes from awesome to still awesome to, you guessed it, freaking awesome.

I have a four pack chilling in the cellar; totally forgot I have two one left in the fridge. Man, this is a stupidly good beer. Probably my nightcap now, even this early; ehh, we'll see.

Yes, I think I shall.

This was the next song in my playlist anyway, but it's also a nod to my latest tattoo, which is still itchy as freaking hell.

    Cheers, all!

'Dead Arm' Pale Ale from COAST. This is a citrus/grapefruit bomb with a clean aftertaste. Of course, the wife had to get in on the WBAYDN action! Cheers!! [IMG]

I just got my federal taxes filed so I figured trying these two side by side would be a nice reward. Not available in OH but I grabbed them when I was in NJ two weeks ago. I think I like Double better but both have a nice earthiness rather than slamming you in the face with pine and citrus. Now it's time to settle in and read Issue 86 which just arrived in the mail today. Cheers!

Man this is always good, well great. Happy weekend. With all the craziness in the world sometimes it's nice just to relax with an awesome beer,

Starting off with a random dirt wolf and hopslam I found in my dad's fridge. Then I think after the week I've had it might be time for my first plead the 5th. If I'm standing after a super fresh hop juju then I'll have some fresh sucks. It's been a horrible week at work and just found out the wife may need an emergency root canal. The pisser is we leave in a week for sanibel island. I don't drink during the week. Its time to get after it.

A mini growler of a new release from Grimm Brothers, Odds & Ends: Amarillo. Single American hops, this edition uses Amarillo, but German malts and yeast. Apparently my dishwasher did a terrible job washing my Avery glass.

    Listening to some Soundgarden.

poured into my Avery pint that apparently was not cleaned well in the dishwasher

Just got back from my weekly beer tasting. It was an all-Upland event. The Coast Buster IIPA and Teddy Bear Kisses Imperial Stout aged in Buffalo Trace barrels were both quite good.

Watching World War II docs and contemplating the miracle that is the Mosaic Hop (too lazy to take a pic). Cheers!

I just read my post in another thread and I am so unhappy. Can I get it off my chest? OK good. So I meant to say and did not say it well, that sam adams could make a beer called kolsch and because there ar enot that many, no one who drinks it will know if it is or isn't what they said. But how I siad it over there sounds terrible and insulting. =( OK I feel better now.
