While waiting for dinner at another local dive... North Country IPA:

At home whilst enjoying the - awesome! - bacon cheeseburger I got to go at said local dive:

 

Hopothesis IPA. A waste of a good name. Not a stand alone beer. Something that has to be drank with a meal, which for me, is a chili dog bowl. 2 hot dogs on buns in a bowl, then smothered with spicy chili, louisiana hot sauce, tony cachere's creole seasoning, heinz ketchup, and yellow mustard. (didn't have any shredded cheese, or that would have been in the mix too)

 

Skip Indigo Imp, seriously..

Greenbush 400 Divine Rabbits

 

Right now and earlier...Like chips, I couldn't have just one. What a fantastic brownie.


Earlier...Roughtail IPA for the first time. Impressive.


Checking out Maragold, Greg Howe's new band. He says it's his "vocal pop band." Greg is the best guitarist you've never heard of. He's backed many famous vocalists and recorded several epic solo shred guitar albums. I kinda dig this band he's got now. That singer...

 

I love the name of this Brew!

 

On a further note. did also pick up a six pack of deschute's fresh squeezed ipa for $8.99. Funny, because last fall, a bomber of fresh squeezed ran me $5.99. Go figure.

 

Oh, okay. It's just, uh...never mind.

 

There was a nice surprise waiting at the store today-


Kind of low key, but I like it. It's got a unique profile- I'm getting lots of lemon and berries at the moment.

Listening to this right about now ( and really digging how bassist David Hayes just goes toe to toe with Van the Man throughout- what a ride!)-

 

Cant get enough of this homebrewed espresso stout, and if that fails me I'll move over to peche mortel...

AHHHHH this is EASILY one of my favorite beers . . . last year's, with the Sorachi Ace, I thought was outstanding. Can't wait to try this one!!

On a related note, I'll be drinking some more Hopslam tonight, but not before I make a big kale salad and do some more work on my methodology paper. Hugs and kisses, y'all.

 

There's not enough of this beer in the world. Still amazing...and while not as deliciously bitter as it is fresh, it's still pure filthy (or whatever cool statement the kids are saying these days). That is to say, there's plenty of coffee in there:
