And the BIF winner is the organizer. Good Beer Karma for a good guy I guess

As for the Vache Folle, seriously do they re-do these regularly or are they older bottles? A solid box regardless (Heady Topper? Eff Yeah!)

Don't know much about these but I just checked the labels and they appear to both be older bottles. 2011-Feb-17 and 2010-Dec-01

Glad you like it and that everything got there okay in my scraps of old packaging. It was supposed to be all west coast, but I couldn't resist grabbing the last two Jack D'or's on the shelf when I bought the ipa since Pretty Things stopped distribution here and it was on your wants. It's pretty old, but tasted okay ...and was 20% off!!! lol. Anyways, the rest are all in good shape.

Alright, my box has landed (and my box will be on the Fed Ex truck on Wednesday, I just found out I can save $15 in shipping putting it all in one box  ) And a great box it was. Apparently doing an ode to hops à la LL Cool J will get a giant wad of hoppy beers. I am a happy man

Now it is time to settle once and for all if Quebec can make a decent IPA

Glad I didn't partake. I wouldn't have been able to match the quality being sent out.

Hey now, if I were your target a box of Lighthouse and Howe Sound beers would have made me plenty happy. My kingdom for a King Heffy right about now...:sunglasses:

Exactly, I think people with access to one or two solid breweries sell themselves short.

My box has 4 (arguably 5) breweries in it, with it being heavy on one brewery for some odd reason  .

That Bell's sticker is golden, not to mention the brews!

I think it would be a good idea for those that do review (or encouraging those that don't) to review their received beers and post the links here. I'd love to know what people think of each persons choices.

Just reviewed Driftwood's Fat Tug IPA

My FedEx labels are printed. The box is all taped up and ready to be dropped off at 8:00 tomorrow morning.

Because I can't let Ted make me look selfish, my box will end up with 236 ounces of beer and (arguably) 11 styles of beer!

Google Maps tells me I could bike the beer in under five days. Like hell I say, the $28 is money well spent... Regardless it is being sent to someone whose nickname involves the number that is the date of my birth. Serendipity.

Everything is packed up and I'm hitting the Fed Ex tomorrow. One of the bottles was frickin' 13 inches tall. Had to do the box within a box thing with a gigantic U-Haul box, because styro shippers apperently don't exist in Cow Town and couldn't get any other box that worked. Some goood stuff in there, if I do say so myself.

Fed ex tells me my box has been delivered, I pray the glass gods have watched the bottles on their journey and kept them safe.

And my box is out as of 9:49 this morning, weighing in at just under 10kg. Spreading some Ontario as well as a bit of international love. My box is going west, and if I were to choose to drive to said individual's home, the fastest route might be through the States... (as per Google Maps)
