had a rogue yellow snow IPA while changing the oil on my truck, then played battlefield 3 while drinking a smuttynose summer weizen, now just finished a SN bigfoot (2012) while surfing the net.

How is the Rogue Yellow Snow IPA? I keep passing it by just because of the name! Awesome choice on the Bigfoot! Cheers ~

 

Damn bro, sounds like you are having an awesome night! I'm just sipping on an Oasis after finishing a bottle of Territorial Reserve Wheat Wine, one sour/funky ass beer…although I keep trying this style, it's going to take some more sampling before making a final decision on them. Cheers to ya ~

 

Not a big fan, but I saw them at the Mabuhay in SF back in the day. They ripped a part a stuffed animal or something with a strobe light flashing and all that stuffing flying at me in split-second spurts was one of the most bitchenist things I've seen.

I sure did, what an interesting clash that was. Those guys do the best covers... They just recorded one recently for some Chicago radio station. Pretty cool I think.

 

I am excited to see them at the current's rock the garden, hopefully summit has more than epa, I think John was saying they will have summer ale there too.

Drove through a storm to the "good" 24 hour grocery store for some Hopsecutioner. Worth it!

 

Pretty "meh" but maybe it was not as good because I drank from the bottle (changing oil while using proper glass is not recommended). I still have 5 more bottles so I will see if the taste is any better, but it was pretty underwhelming with the first bottle.

And agreed on the bigfoot...cant go wrong with that price point on a 6 pack of barleywine!

lol. i didn't think anyone would notice the overflow...hopefully not my wife. i busted out the green cleaning spray to avoid the stickiness. all i need is my baby girl crawling on the floor only to get stuck in that spot. i'm nearing the end of my hoptimum and considering a capt lawrence brown bird (i freakin love that beer - and it isn't too strong)....my first meeting tomorrow isn't until 2pm.

 

Inspecting photos of beer is what I do best! I can just see it now, your daughter licking the floor and your wife wondering why is she doing that and you just grinning sheepishly! Good luck with your 2 o'clock meeting…Cheers ~

 

Agreed on the "meh". Not my favorite Rogue brew at all. I'd take a Brutal Bitter or Captain Sig's Northwestern Ale or one of the Christmas seasonals (Santa's and Mogul) over it any day.

Drank great all weekend, so taking it easy with some Paulaner Hefe tonight.
