I've asked multiple people and used various sources to determine ps is a beer desert. That said I got a 16oz pour of firestone 17 for $10. I almost laughed after I ordered it seeing a pint glass put in front of me. If anyone knows of any places that have good beer in ps let me know. I'm here till Friday
Came to post this. The beer selection was actually surprisingly good at their poolside bar, too. I remember drinking lots of Cafe Racer 15 and cans of Maui Mana Wheat. Other than that, I have no clue. None of the bars I went to had anything for me other than Bud Light. There's a Yardhouse in Rancho Mirage...
Schmitys tavern off 111 is my go to when I'm at my family condo in palm desert. Had Parabola on draft there a few times.
La Quinta and Palm Desert are not that close to PS, but thanks for the recs. i go out there a lot actually with my girlfriend - Desert Hot Springs (there's absolutely no beer there).. good to know about new spots to check out. i usually just bring my own beer to be honest, but at least the Ace usually has something decent. also, that Matchbox place is not bad for beer, even though it's kind of cheesy
Yeah, it is a drive, but La Quinta Brewing is right off the freeway so it shouldn't be too bad. The Koffi Porter and IPA are surprisingly good.
