Looks like extra allocations of Bois Fume and Smooth Criminal have opened up!

Just curious, did the M9 make it to RS members? Honestly I wouldn't be upset that more people got to try it, but disappointed in so called 'Hoarders' if they failed to buy out a beer.

Nope. Just Smooth Criminal and Bois Fume.

I would think they would allow for larger extra allocations for HS before offering those exclusives to RS. Many hoarders would have bought more that than one extra they were allowed.

Or they could have a party, charge a crazy admission, let anyone in with a legitimate and counterfeit ticket, sell all the HS beers by the case to anyone that wants one, have none left over for HS members and then tell us to go to Mr. K's to buy a competitor's beer all while cussing us out. But that's a crazy idea, no brewery would do that right?

Lol someone pointed me to the Huna-Day thread in the South Atlantic forum earlier and I was amazed to see how bad it got. I have been to a few poorly run events (as I am sure everyone has) but that just seemed pretty ridiculous how things played out. DBH had been trading for major rarities and I heard a select few walked out with 2-3 cases while thousands were shut out.

I know the Bruery gets crap for their online (BT/Stress) sales but I still can not express my gratitude enough that I don't ever have to jump through any hoops to get my hands on a fair share of every release. You guys keep doing what you are doing, I'll keep buying/drinking/sharing beers and everyone will be happy. Cheers.

I'd gladly trade all my BT for Bruery kegs equivalent to what CCB does for Hunahpu Day, plus the amazing guest taps.

Too bad you would only be able to get a couple of tasters of some of the stuff offered at that complete shit show of an event.

Even though they specifically told people not to come early?

Not going to hijack this thread further, but I was able to avoid the cluster and enjoyed my time by going early and leaving when it started to get riotous. My point being, the Hunahpu Day taplist is so far beyond anything Bruery ever puts out and I'd love to see something more memorable during anniversary parties.

Right on. I can't say I agree or disagree as I've never been. We shall see this year though! Hope to see you there as well. Are the anniversary parties different than the clusterfork events I've been hearing about?

The 2011 RS initiation party had long lines and was somewhat of a clusterfuck. The recent initiation and other parties have ran much smoother, with all of the beer spread out of many different locations.

All of the parties since then have been much more efficiently run, and last year's initiation party had plenty of "memorable" stuff. Can't wait until this year's.

Nice! The HS Melange 9 party tap-list is out and it is epic. Stoked for extra tickets so I can bring the GF too, see some of you guys Sunday (Noon for me)

"The Mélange #9 Release Party is coming up this Sunday afternoon and we still have tickets available. You can login and purchase THREE tickets right now (so those of you who only bought one, can grab another 2 if you'd like). The event will feature not only Mélange #9, but also casks of each of the 2 runner up blends, French Oak Bois, Wineification, Filmishmish, a Hoarders Society glass and catering by Beachwood BBQ. "
