and also the most delicious beer. It's a fact. I read it on a list somewhere earlier.

i wasn't outraged, see prior posts. In fact I was making fun of outrage and rationalizing/justifying the list. But I'll keep your advice in mind and thanks for the link!

Drats, caught up by the interwebs sarcasm filter. I was just having a bit of fun. The good news for you is that Sucks did make number 9 on last years list.

    Cheers

Yeah, and a lot of this board's 2012 list criticism was internalized in to the 2013 list. Beer Advocate basically 12 to 18 months ahead of the AHA. Interesting to look at them side by side, through the filter of this thread. Again, thanks for the link, made an obsolete thread relevant (to me anyway.)

This list is far off.not dis-crediting any of the beers on their(with the exception of FatTire) just the order in which they are placed. and this list is missing a lot. The longer i looked at the list the more time i found myself wasting.

18 of the top 20 are pale ales/ipas/dipas. this is super biased

I voted for the 2014 list. You can all blame me now, as I assume you are not AHA members.

Some beers are also highly thought of if a brewery gives homebrew recipe guidelines. Just saying in general. Flame away, as the list is flamed every year.

While I agree that Ten Fidy is a more enjoyable beer than Sam Adams (if the two can even be compared), if you look at it from the perspective of which beer has done more to bring craft into the mainstream, it's not even close. In fact, I'd argue that Sam Adams, SNPA, and Fat Tire have done more for craft beer in the United States than any 100 other beers you can think of, combined.

I loved how Founder's Breakfast Stout ranked lower than Fat Tire. D-bags! How I hate that list, let me count the ways.

a certain brewery out of Munster, IN is completely absent from this list. I'm sure the FFFanboys are melting down everywhere at the sight of this list

Interesting list, pretty much all great beers, I have had 49 out of 50, only Pliny The Younger escapes me.

I'm shocked that 90 minute, Ranger, and Fat Tire are in the list at all.

No offense to 90 Min, but that malt bill lends nothing hop forward to what I expect a DIPA should be. Then again, I live in CA. Where's the Alpine & FFF brews??

Funny reading these BA noobs dismissing the list because of obscure no-name beers they love.

When the simple reason that this list is laughable is because there isn't a single Three Floyds beer on there. The fresh Zombie Dust I drank last Friday again proved to me what the best beer in the US is.

Wait I didn't write that. I said it's the best beer in the US.

That's a pretty one noted list. Why does every beer have to be a barrel aged stout ( which I cant even really drink) or a dipa ( not that im seriously complaining, but oversaturation)? America makes many awesome beers which do not fall into either category.
