Any Nelson beers in the Midwest?

Toppling Goliath Zeelander is an IPA with ONLY Nelson. Hard to get. Very good. Supposed to deliver this week to Des Moines and likely other Iowa/WI areas they distribute but usually limited to 2 bombers and have to get there quick.

This. Zeelander is maybe my favorite hoppy beer, right up there with PseudoSue and King Sue. I heard whisper of an imperial version of Zee in the works, and I'm quite excited about it.

 

Where'd you hear news of a TG delivery to DSM this week? Last I heard (last week), Murph had indicated he probably wouldn't be back for 3-4 weeks with a delivery. Also, didn't hear they had bottled more Zee. That's sweet if true!

 

Maybe it will be a while, as it seems they are headed to EBF in 9 days, unless they deliver before then, obviously.

 

If you make it to the Chicago area, keep an eye out for Rico Sauvin from Against the Grain. It's a Nelson hopped IPA that comes in 22 oz bottles. Fantastic beer.

Someone tweeted TG saying "come on Murphy DSM needs some rainbow!" and TG retweeted a tweet from "brewmastaMike" yesterday "Zeelander and Rainbow X-Hops this week. Cheers"

Assuming its correct since brewmastamike is one of the brewers right? Unless he was just indicating he was making it this week. A few weeks back someone said Raindbow and Zeelander next

 

Yeah...Mike is the head brewer, so I'm sure it's true. I also know Rainbow XHops was brewed a few weeks ago, so makes sense it is being bottled soon. Hadn't heard they had brewed more Zeelander, so that's good news. I know they typically do their bottling on Friday mornings, so I wonder if that will be this week and the bottles will hit DSM next week?

 

This one should be right up OP's Nelson alley and it has hit the Chicagoland area within the last couple weeks. I know a few Binny's got it in at least.

 

Yeah could be next week then. This week, next week... i'll take them anytime!
