Hunahpu's Day top beers?

Apple Brandy Winter Warmer

 

Cigar City's Apple Pie Cider was fantastic, but isn't exactly a "beer" by the strict definition of the word. I also thoroughly enjoyed 3 Sons out of Davie FL - Their Summation tasted like liquid roasty marshmallow and their PB was also fantastic. Most drinkable beer of the day by far goes to King Sue by Toppling Goliath, though.

 

I would say Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrel aged Black Tuesday Proprietors Blend. Yup, it was really good that day.

 

not sure best overall, since i missed >90% of them, but the best one I had was DFPF

 

I love that Apple Pie Cider. It's easily the best Cider I think I've had.

 

TG Morning Delight and King Sue were 2 that live up to the hype for sure. JWB brought the awesome as usual. 3 Sons is someone to follow, their stuff has been awesome the two times I've had it. Nice guys too. Also was very surprised with the Apple pie cider, insane!

 

Forgot about J Wakefield... Kryptoweiss was fantastic and with a great color for it's name

 

I'm now officially obsessed with Funky Buddha's Last Snow - OMG COCONUT

 

Damn you had around 20+ beers!?! You did better than me. I think it's great to have a thread on the positive aspects on the event. Out if the very few beers I had I'll say Hunahpu's. Yup best one I had.

 

Previous batches were better! Seems like the same batch from the MBCP release earlier this year which I didn't care for.

 

Dark Apparition.
Good Gourd Almighty was a close second.
Third was an Abraxus someone shared.
Other than that I didn't get to taste much. Green Bench IPA was solid. Had some barleywine I can't remember. Couple more bottles...Don Gavino was awesome, dunno why people dont like that beer, I bought 2 bottles after tasting it.

 

MAZURT was awesome. 2 week old Head Hunter was great as well.

 

DFPF was my favorite. Morning Delight and King Sue were great too. Also enjoyed Westbrook Gozu and of course Hunahpu and the BA Hunahpoopoo

 

Does anyone know the name of that barley mow beer that was aged in pvw barrels?

 

The CCB kopi treatments were incredible. Final Push and DB Hunahpoopoo. The servers at the truck kept telling me they were pouring Hunahpoopoo, but it tasted just like regular Hunahpu, so I guess I missed out on that one. Please re-brew!
And then, of course, having TG specialties on Friday and Saturday was a real treat.

 

Toss up between Final push and mornin delight. If you put them both in front of me and said I could only drink one I would probably cry.

 

I loved Whiskey Barrel Old Chub, Rye Aged Booty Wax (7S), White Oak Rum Barrel Pineapple IPA and Warmer Winter Winter Warmer, probably my tops for the day. Didn't get Toppling Goliath but plan on hitting them on one of my semi-annual commutes from Florida to Oregon. My list is here https://untappd.com/user/jimpdx
