I like it. Too many "session IPA's" end up tasting like hoppy soda water. That's one of the few that actually had some body.

Sounds good to me... what about the fifty-niner at the bottom of the article too? that could be solid..

I can not wait for this….I totally agree it wasn't worth buying the Montage Variety pack for, but in sixers it will be a stapple in my fridge. This has been my favorite session beer since moving from Philly and losing access to Yuengling.

Odell has been my favorite brewery since moving out to Colorado, but their bombers can have price point issues. I hope 59er will not be too pricey ie their woodcut series. I will still buy it, but will I buy a few?!?

totally agree with you here, if it's $15-16 like the others tend to be, i'd probably only get one

I would love to see St. Lupulin before Runoff personally. Although I enjoy them both quite a bit.

Whenever I have been on a tour they mention how they will never can, but "never say never." I keep hoping as well. Even if it is just a few beers to begin with.... 90, IPA, Easy

Have they said why they don't want to? Doesn't make sense to me why they would just be against it for the sake of being against it.

When I was going to school at CSU back around 2000 they were adamant they would never distribute out of state. Turns out they changed their minds. Hopefully they will change their minds on canning, too. Odell IPA in a can would be a godsend.

I really don't understand their business decisions sometimes, but what do I know?

Odell has their own custom 12oz bottles that have a unique shape and branding elements. I know there are others that do, but Odell doesn't really have their footprint. I bet those bottles are playing a role.

I have no idea their philosophy bauxite, BPA, and the other "issues" with cans, but that might play an impact. Just a thought. I love cans, but that's just for selfish reasons.. hiking, camping, skiing, maybe freshness.. not everybody is sold on their "environmentally friendliness."

Easy street in a can? Shake well before opening?

On one tour they stated they did not enjoy the taste out of a can as much as out of a bottle. Like @hopfacebrew stated, maybe they will change their minds. I sure hope so because I would love to take their beer on some adventures where cans just are easier. I understand the can/ bottle preference, but sometimes I just want the beer regardless of the container....

Damn, that is one stinky-ass beer. I can't say that I love this, and passing the rest of the 6'er off on my wife may not be the best idea, lol.

Grabbed my first sixer of the season just now. Gonna wait until tomorrow's Rockies home opener to crack my first bottle, can't wait.
