Let's Go Tigers and Comerica beer selection

I suppose it could vary from suite to suite depending on the holder, but i was in a suite earlier this year and had my choice of miller lite or some import, maybe heineken, didn't matter since I had no interest in drinking it...and unlimited hot dogs and chicken fingers. Got my fill on food then took a walk to the craft beer stand to buy a couple all day's to bring back in with me.

 

That's about what I expected. Minor bummer, but I'm not going to complain about a free ticket, free food and drinks, and a Cy Young candidate pitching.

 

Just BMC and Labatt's.

 

I'll be honest, I don't completely hate Labatt. I'll manage.

At least Verlander's not pitching. Bum..

 

this week for Firkin Friday Griffin Claw's Norm's Ragedy Ass IPA, also I've heard the Dan Rogers might be in house for this

 

tomorrow we have more Griffin Claw in store for ya with Triple shandy, also I'd like to thank Stacey Roth for showing up since Dan Rogers couldn't make it, its always nice to have one of the brewers in house. and one more thing, y'all know that beer float I mentioned in an earlier post, well I guess its not gonna happen at the brand new strawberry shortcake cart near section 122 but it is now available right here at the Michigan craft beer stand near section 104. and one more thing if you looking for a pre/post game place to drink might I suggest the dirty trick right down the street, they currently have blue point brewing's pumpkin ale on tap but once that keg runs out it will be Screamin' Pumpkin from Griffin Claw, so please help me drink all the pumpkin ale to get the Screamin' pumpkin on tap it'll be fun

 

Didn't Michigan Brewing Company used to brew Screamin' pumpkin? Coincidence? That was a great pumpkin beer

Woah, so the Screaming Pumpkin was MBC's Pumpkin beer? That was one of the only beers of theirs I liked...

 

I was there this night... Dragon's Milk, limit 1/customer (meaning, 1/visit, w/o another dragon's milk in hand!).

going sunday and hoping that it being the last home game of the season that we'll get a treat.. hey it is appreciation weekend in all..

 

well its fan appericiation weekend and we got firkins all weekend today its dry hopped pathfinder from sagatuck saturday is dragons milk frm new holland and sunday is voodoo vator from atwater also there are two cases of founders breakfast stout but im not sure what day those are for

 

hopefully they are for sunday seeing as how its an early game..

Hey @hobobumguy, will you be involved with the Michigan Craft Beer stand again this season?

 

Pretty sure he will, saw him there at the Great Lakes Invitational and Winter Classic.

 

I will definitely be back for the 2014 season, I just might not be there for every game like last year since I'm starting a new job, the day after opening day, and there may be scheduling conflicts. But when I am around I will do my best the to keep you guys updated on firkin fridays and what not, also next weekend we are doing some set up at the park and if the kegs are in the cooler I will post a line up for opening day.

 

What's more American than overpaying, and baseball?

Seriously though. I will be more than happy to hand over my dollars for some great beer when I'm there the Friday before Memorial Day, to support an in-state brewery, and America's Pastime.
