    Just got a 6 today. I haven't had this in over 3 years, but the 2/26 bottling made me buy it. Absolutely spot on to style delicious Amber ale. Balanced caramel/toasty/bready malt and bright citrus hops. Lagunitas very rarely lets me down as I have found recently.

    One of the better US Tripels I've had, and one of my top Vivant brews. So delicious and very balanced.

    2+ year old 12 ounce, and I have a full 4 pack of the same date left. GD needs to get their ass back into MI ASAP. This beer is mind melting amazing 100% of the time. Until then I have to make sure I have a stash from Ohio each time I go to visit my parents. Doable for now.

    Finishing on a Mikkeller/Anchorage Brewing Collab, AKALIVE Alaskan Sour with some DVDed Craig Ferguson. Might make a beer run to Missouri tomorrow :slight_smile:

    I see the comparison to Hopslam I have read but its definitely a few hops short of that beer... still good stuff!

    I don't see it as similar to Hopslam.
    But I am not a fan of Hopslam and I love Chill Wave.

    I try to be careful with any bottle-conditioned beer, especially wild/Belgian yeasts; I've had bottlecaps hit the ceiling.

    I prefer the danger a little earlier in the evening when everyone else is not asleep & my reaction time is a little quicker...
