Total Wine is the new price sheriff in town and it'll be interesting to see if the smaller liquor stores bring their prices down as well.

I saw this one for around $10 a six yesterday. And while I.P.A. ain't my bag, baby, I expect y'all will go on an' knock yourself out trading this one for out-of-state locals.

(I liked their 'Haywire' enough on tap, and was surprised that I did!)

Small stores likely will not but some of the chains will.

Got great nose out of this beer but didn't get the same punch with the flavor. Good beer but a little disappointed.

Solid stuff but I may like Hopdish a little better especially on draft.

This years canned version seems as though it is a touch under-attenuated compared to last years. The "sweet" hop flavors battle with the malty sweetness a bit more. The aromas are just as I remember, with a great amount of ripe cantaloupe that follows in the flavor. I remember more of a perfect bittersweetness in last years, though. Still a spectacular IPA. I will try the subsequent batches. When I had it on tap, I enjoyed it even more. Strange.

Bump, any news about this years first batch? I've heard some Hot Box rumblings via Indeed social media. Hotly anticipating some Let it Ride!

I was sitting at the bar at Indeed the other day, and I overheard people who work there saying something about releasing the beer at the Turf Club in Feb. Didn't hear an exact date, but totally pumped that it's coming back!

And for 6 months, then we get let it roll (from what they said, same base beer, different hops) for the other 6 months.

    Thanks for the scoop.
I recall going to the Taproom before the Russian Circles show at the Triple Rock last Feb. and it happened to be the first day they had it on tap. Best Day!

How this is not a year round is confounding to me. My guess is that they might feel that it would cannibalize sales of Day Tripper, which probably provides better margin. This is one of the best IPAs in MN (as DT is for pale ales), so I don't think that they aren't confident that it can compete well in an admittedly crowded style.

I'll be the one to say it, year round let it ride would replace Saga in my fridge. Day tripper is balls and I would still buy it, but yeah that definitely could happen.

From their announcement about it being around for 6 months now, sounded like capacity and that they didn't have enough hops. They added more tanks and they said Let it Roll will be the same base beer, just with different hops.
