Are any of the suggestions near the Convention Center (3150 Paradise Road). I will be attending a conference next month but I will be limited to in and around that general vicinity. Thanks.

You can get to the strip from there without too much trouble (monorail or cab). So Pub at Monte Carlo and Todd English PUB would be pretty easy to reach. Freakin' Frog (FWIW) a short cab ride as well. Burger Bistro in the connector hallway between the LVH and the Convention Center has some decent bottles. Won't blow you away but not bad.

The Yardhouse is open at The Linq which is pretty close to the convention center.

Looked at their list tonight. Pugachev's Cobra and BCB BW struck out as pretty great beers on tap.

Has anyone hit up Flour & Barley at the Linq? It's s/b from same group that opened Publick House and they are touting good craft selection....can anyone confirm.

Saw a less than favorable review of the pizza somewhere yesterday. No mention of beer selection. The Yardhouse is open in the back of The Linq.

    Edit: Found it. http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2...Reader+Weighs+In+On+New+Offerings+At+The+Linq

The bruery will be in town this weekend and they are doing a beer dinner at public house. They might be pouring the beers on draft in addition to the dinner. I would call public house and check. The place is expensive but draft selection is good and you can put in plastic and take it out into the rest of the casino complex.

Went by there the other night but not inside because I'd already eaten, so I can't tell you how the beer selection is. No mention of their beer list posted anywhere that I could find, either there at the restaurant or even online. As for the pizza, I saw various pre-sliced pies sitting in their to go window. The person in the article linked to two posts above says that the slices are "the smallest on the strip by far", a statement I completely disagree with. The slices I saw were among the largest I've seen on the strip or anywhere for that matter. Maybe they sliced them differently the night he went. He mentions the pizza was "worst pizza on the strip". I didn't eat any so I can't say one way or the other. The slices looked like your average run of the mill take out window pizza. I've seen worse looking pizza.

I also had a few beers at the Yardhouse there. Nice atmosphere and of course the usual Yardhouse large tap selection and a rotating list of about 10 or so slightly more "exotic" (by Vegas standards) offerings.

Brooklyn Bowl is a huge place with 4 or 5 bars scattered about, a restaurant area and about a dozen or so bowling lanes. Nicely decorated but noisy atmosphere. If that sort of thing gets you excited then you'll like it. I didn't see a beer list but took a peek at the tap handles and they were mostly the usual macro suspects. Not really a beer destination, but worth going in there to check the place out anyways.

Yup! Also I need to correct my previous post. There are additional bowling lanes upstairs (which was closed off the night I went due to a private party, so I had no idea they existed) so there are actually a total of 32 lanes. Anyways, a worthwhile place to check out.

What are some good bottle shops in Henderson? Or is it still Total Wine & Lou's?

Heard they were charging $22+ for a pint of a local IPA. Seen good reviews about the food though!

I don't think your pricing is correct based on this review from today. The food is expensive though.
