    Thank Dog for Old Rasputin! It nicely removes the taste of that Sam Adams Graywater IPA! I was planning on cellaring some of OR for next year but it doesn't look like it now. Xin loi!

    Family beach trip to Pacific City this weekend! Stopped by and picked up a growler of Midnight Pils from the Pelican Brewery.

    Kinda-sorta a cellar dive. 10 plus months old. I loved the nose when I first poured it. It's not my first time drinking the Theo, but its been awhile, and, unfortunately, not terribly blown away.

    Bought a sixer of Prima Pils. It's okay, but not something I would get again. Also splurged on a
    Mogli Oak Aged Imperial Porter brewed w/chocolate. The guy who rang me up at the register made that Homer Simpson drooling noise as he scanned the bottle, so I have high hopes.

    One more for the night; go big or go home. Slowly sipping on BCBBW, figure I'll watch this McDermott kid in the Big East championship, and nosh on a couple plate fulls of food: homemade chicken pot pie, red grapes, sharp Vermont cheddar, horseradish cheddar, and Brie. Fantastic.

    I like BCBBW; I really do. However, having had it from the bottle twice now, and several times on tap, I would take BCBS over its cousin 90 out of 100 times. Ehh, different palates for different.....folks. Sounds much better when it rhymes.

    Just heard that David Brenner passed away today. Always remember his funny stories and jokes making me laugh when I was younger and that he was from Philly.
