    agree. that's why i'm revisiting. one song on the new one sounds very similar to Golden Age

    for me Sea Change was his last great album. he's still had great stuff since then but the golden age was from the early beginnings to that (Mutations and Odelay being creme de la creme)

    Back in 2002, I saw the tour where the Flaming Lips were his backup band. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

    Off-thread, but regardless: one of the things I loved about Metallica albums were the automatic instrumentals, one per album (if you count To Live Is To Die, which, at 9:48, with just Cliff's spoken words for a stanza, should certainly count), up until the Black album.

    Thankfully, they finally brought it back:



    Granted, it's no Call or Orion, but it's at least an instrumental, and it's pretty solid.

    Now, back OT: still drinking BCBBW. Yum! :grinning:

    Found this at my hometown bottle shop, was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice consolation prize after poring over the 5 or 6 different Maine beers they had only to find that none were Lunch.
    Now if I could only track down Mexican Cake...
