    Going OT, but here in the Netherlands I can buy NØgne beers for a very, very reasonably price, cheaper then Mikkeller for example. How can it be that they do not suffer the enormous taxes that would make these beers so expensive? I can buy their Imperial Stout (0.5 litre) for 5 euros, I'd almost call that cheap.

    That is good question. Mikkel as a contract brewer has to pay rent, when he brew. I have no idea how much though. Denmark is also quite expensive as Norway as well.

    Sometimes distributors are the main factor. They just take more some hyped beers or berrs from hyped brewery. Same thing with stores of course.

    Picked one up for $12.99 last weekend. I thought it was pretty good. I might go back for another!
