When I checked them out last July they only had limited growlers. Just one item from the menu was available. Has this changed?

Yes they offer several beers on growler now. They only do one special/limited release growler per week on Tuesday but their regular beers (5 or 6 of them) are always available on growler. If you like IPAs, Hop Gun is pretty good. Also they only fill their growlers but I think the 32 oz one is only around $5 for the growler plus the charge for the fill.

Regarding Miami, food and beer, check out the restaurant OTC in the Brickell area. The chef is excellent, and the beer guy knows what he's doing. Lokal also great, but it's more burger-centric - OTC's food is more "chef-y."

Orlando may be lacking in quality breweries, but it has some damn fine beer bars as mentioned above.

Best pizza and Cuban at the beach right now happen to be the same place, Polo Norte. They also have CCB Maduro and 2. Wynwood beers on draft.

A Yard House just opened on Lenox Ave and 17 st... 130+ beers on draft and the food is great.

Thanks for all the info everyone..Had a great time in Florida...found cans of Cigar City for decent prices at Publix which worked great along the beach. Also hit The Abbey which had some good stuff but very pricy (I know south beach that is expected)..Had a humidor series can of IPA which damn it anyhow if it didn't taste like a it was aged on a cedar lined humidor.

Hit a few other places and then picked up polisanl's post on the yard house.....hit that on the last day and that was gold....great happy hour prices....good stuff...had Due South and Sweetwater among others......then walking back to the hotel I stumbled upon Hofbrau House which I had been told about before but forgot....happy hour...2 for 1...told the wife and daughter to forage on and I took in a maibock and dark bock there....$10 for two half liters....happy with that and good for the night after that.

Orlando we stayed with a buddy who lives on one of these gated communities with all the fancy stuff....amazed the clubhouse had great beer prices...everyone seems to love Yuengling in this state and I actually enjoyed it as an everyday type beer....probably better than Grain Belt Nordeast which is comparable in my cold ass state. $2 a pint and $1 a pint on happy hour made it even better.....also got a Dogfish 60 Minute IPA for $1.50 on happy hour there too...never actually went into Orlando...he was out by Groveland I think?

Overall...loved the trip...came back to shitty cold weather in Minnesota...smoked my first cigars in 5 months on the trip and can't wait for summer or spring or late winter here...I did not run into any snakes or alligators either...
