Any more Uncle Jacob???

if it got more hype it'd be gone. i picked up some KBS in a trade, and uncle jacobs leave KBS with it's dick in the dirt.

 

Always deciding if I should pick up some more. These are going to be great for trading later. I think I'm pretty solid on the amount to cellar for me.

 

I've already traded it 3 times within the last month. Trying to help 'spread the word' on how good a beer this is. I'm down to 3 bottles.... thinking I should get at least 1 or 2 more. It IS batch 01 after all People are still asking about Rumpkin and this the better of the two IMHO.

 

I've made 5 trades and I still have 1/2 case in the cellar.

What have you guys been landing? I only traded it once for some BA Blackout. I've been selfishly hoarding it for myself, but I'd be interested in what it's pulling.

 

Pulled in some Heady Topper with some other locals for one. Got a couple of KBS. Also got a BB OPS with some locals thrown in. Mostly going $4$. I was new to trading so I was trying to get some of the beers I've been wanting to try.

 

$4$ mostly... stuff like 3F Oude Geuze for 1, New Glarus BR & RT + FFF Behomoth for 2, Lolita for 1, 2 UJ's for 1 MoAS, got plenty of 1:1 offers on KBS, but didn't think it was worth it considering the high $ of UJ. I think 1 UJ is worth 1 KBS + a bottle to make up $4$

 

i'd make them bring 4XKBS for a single of uj's. anyone else find an unpleasant aftertaste in KBS similar to the smell of burned plastic?

 

I traded 2x UJS for 2x BB Plead the 5th and 1x KBS

 

I traded 2 UJ for a 750 of Tilquin Gueuze

 

Very nice. I think my best trade recently has been two Ghost Face Killahs for two KBS at DLD. Oh, and I did trade two UJ's for an extra Dark Lord. UJ definitely the better of those two brews but since I have friends that are wanting some of the DL....

 

Lukas and davidsons both have some left on the south side. Just scored four more bottles tonight.

 

I just looked in the cellar and I have almost a case. Can't help picking one up whenever I'm out. Price might be a bit high for a 12oz bottle but that stuff is damn good!

 

After drinking one the other night I'm for sure looking to get more. Put a year or two on these and they'll be amazing.

 

Today 4 were still on my shelf. I work again Friday and if they're still there, I'm taking 'em!!

 

Just cracked open my first Parabola and loving it.

Relative to Uncle Jacobs....tie. If I could only buy one, it all depends on my mood.

 

Looks like they are starting to run out. Two stores today that had it recently were out today. IF (and that's a big if) I trade anymore I think the price might be going up.
