Someone on the west coast should expect a box from me tomorrow at the latest. There was a mishandling at the Shipping store: I think I dropped off after the last pickup for the day and the box got lost in the shuffle for a couple days, but it's on it's way to a hopefully happy recipient

And I couldn't wait to open my box!

    Recolte Sauvage (cool!!)
    Cuvee De Tomme (very cool!!)
AleSmith Decadence 2008 (very curious about this guy!)

    Thanks again!

Thanks so much to Soonami for sending me out some great beers! 4 bottles of 750ml!

I'm excited to try all of these, and definitely the home brew. I had a bottle of 2008 LP Gueuze in my refrigerator to drink tonight at RR, so now I have a replacement bottle which is awesome (they are also slightly different labels).

    Cantillon LP Gueuze 2008 (want)
    Cisco - Monomoy Kriek (want)
Upland - Raspberry Lambic (excited to try my first Upland)
Soo Brew Grand Cru Gueuze (home brew!)

This Cantillon LP Gueuze I bought in the US, so that might be why the label is different.

Just make sure you wait a bit for the gueuze to finish bottle conditioning. I don't remember what the date on teh bottle is, but wait until the pellicle on the top of the bottle settles to the bottom.

Nice box, is the homebrew gueuze a blend of three years of lambic? I'm working on one myself but only have one year lambic and two week old lambic at this point. I do have another one year lambic that i just finished with og blueberries and spiked with more brett. shoould be ready by early august.
    When's round 6?

It's a blend of batches fermented from Cantillon, 3F, De Cam, Girardin, and RR dregs that are between 8 months and 3 year old

Hope you enjoy them. That decadence is a very interesting beer. Only sour that has ever been released in bottles by alesmith

Not sure if he sent the ba or the regular but their both barleywines that had infection issues not something alesmith did on purpose if I recall correctly.

Ya, agreed i would love to try homebrew gueuze or olympusz brett bomb and the other ones.

Whats up with the last few packages? Still no update on tylermains box? I dont understand how it gets lost though someone signed for it and you know where it went so why not go there and say give me my sours?

Believe there are 2 outstanding still - one said it was in transit but is past the time it would have taken to arrive...maybe something is going on behind the scenes...

BA Decadence was not infected on purpose. it was a mistake. Granted it's still a hard to get beer, but it was not intentionally made sour.
