Gonna have an afternoon to myself in Columbus, wanna check out some beer spots if I can. I want to hit up Columbus Brewing, hopefully they have Bodhi, but would like some other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance!

Check out Seventh Son brewing at 4th St and 4th Ave. They're probably my favorite new brewery in town, and second only to CBC overall in my opinion. I think they just put Willowolf back on draft, their double IPA - get that. I also really enjoy their Humulus Nimbus extra pale ale.

Columbus Brewing is kind of weird since the brewery doesn't own the restaurant, even though they share the building. It's been my experience they don't get the good seasonal stuff (correct me if I'm wrong), but they usually have Bodhi on tap. If they don't, World of Beer Brewery District is a very short walk away, they have Bodhi on tap and a bunch of other beers. Slightly overpriced though. Bob's Bar is one of the better beer bars in town if you don't mind going a few miles away from downtown. I always recommend The Daily Growler, they always have great brews that you can get a 5oz, pint, 32oz growler or 64 growler of. Beer list is here: http://www.thedailygrowler.com/beers/

Really depends on what kind of place you are looking for.

There's a ton of good bars/shops within a 10 minute drive downtown. Barrel and Bottle in North Market is a good stop, even if the selection is small. Seventh Son is pretty awesome. Weiland's and Palmer's on Indianola are must stops for bottles and stuff. There's a new growler place called Growl! at 2995 N High St in Clintonville, and they have a fairly good taplist currently (including $15 growlers of Bodhi).

    Cheers.

Thanks guys- look like I will check out World of Beer Brewery District and The Daily Growler for some drafts, and Weilands and Palmers for bottles.
