I'll be heading up to Cannon tomorrow to go skiing and was wondering if there are any good bottle shops on the way up. We take the Everett Turnpike/Route 3 to 93. Thanks
You could get off at exit 7 in Nashua and go west on Amherst St.... There is The Beer Store on the right and Jaspers further on the left. I would check their Beerflys and websites for actual addresses and hours first, though. Good luck! Prosit!
I'll second the Beer Store in Nashua. Nice selection. I'm not sure where 3 merges into 93 but if it is south of exit 9, Bert's Better Beers is just off 93 at exit 9N. They let you mix a six which is always a nice option. Pretty good selection. Note, they are closed on Sundays but maybe you're heading back on a different day.
See your GI Bourbon County pic. Just had GI's Proprietor's Stout. AWESOME! is the one word to describe it.
Waynes Market in Woodstock on exit 32 has a great selection. Chase St market in Plymouth, exit 25 main st, has a decent selection but is a bit over-priced.
Wayne's is a great store with solid prices. They had Switchback last month. Very good unfiltered pale! Does anyone know if The Beer Store in Nashua carries Blue Lobster? Caught a bit of the Broke Ass Hobbie thread and don't wanna get involved in back and forth. Just interested in trying some of their stuff.
Yes, they currently have that Blue Lobster release in stock at the Beer Store in Nashua. $13 a bottle
There's a fairly new Nashua brewery called Agner & Wolf that is stocked at the Beer Store. Also Candia Road Brewing Company (Nepenthe), 603, White Birch, Smuttynose and plenty of New England stuff.
Kelsen Brewing Co. is a new brewery in Derry NH. They make a nice brown ale and an IPA that is sold at The Beer Store, and a few other NH bottle shops. http://kelsenbrewing.com/
Some New Hampshire-only breweries I know of (some of which I haven't tried yet myself): Kelsen Agner & Wolf 603 Candia Road (especially recommend Shire Stout & Solo Springer) Out Haus Great Rhythm Henniker (especially recommend their porter & DH IPA) Moat Mountain (especially recommend Bone Shaker Brown) Prodigal (a bit hard to find, but well worth picking up if you come across anything) Throwback (especially recommend their hefeweizen & brown for bottles) Not strictly NH-only, but some of White Birch's beers are easier to find in-state. Not sure how easy they'll be find, but I'd recommend Humble Porter, Indulgence & Ol Cattywhompus if you come across them.
