My goal by year's end is to get down to 10-12 cases (of either 12 22s/750s or 24 12s/330s)

It's going to take a lot of drinking and not a lot of buying to do it.

I've got about 900 bottles, plus a couple hundred Homebrew and 20 5 gallon corny kegs. Way too much.

Official count is down to 169, from 200+ 2 months ago. So far so good. Been trading/drinking my "cellared" beer over this time, most of which are really for hoarding purposes.

WHAT are you going to do with all that beer? And can I get an invite to that party?

Just under 200 bottles...I tell my wife I'm "storing some for friends" but she doesn't buy it.

    Don't define it.
Just buy what you can safely consume before it turns ugly. If that means carrying some inventory after a shopping spree so be it. Keep turning over.

14 cases of 22 oz/750 ml sized bottles. More than that in 12 oz btls. I have recently stopped buying beer. I have enough to last me for a while. I don't hoard. There is nothing off limits except a bottle of King Henry my daughter asked me to save for "something special."

I don't hoard beer, but I buy a 12 bottle case of 750's of Trader Joe's Vintage Ale each holiday season (a Belgian strong spiced brown ale made by Unibroue) to last me the year.
I'm aging a few randoms (such as Funkwerks BBQ)

4 cases of mixed 750s/22s/12oz of stuff I'm holding on to.

4 cases of 750s hopefully that will be reduced by half after a party tomorrow.

I'm at 112 today. Goal is to stay in the 75 - 100 range. I live in a warm-running apartment so I have a wine cooler that holds about 55-60 beers, and I'm limiting myself to one box of beer in the bedroom closet. Remainder will be in warm cabinets or the food fridge

About 35 12 oz bottles. All barleywines, old ales, imperial stouts and triples (not sure if others age tripels, but I do). Some are there because I simply did not care for them, others because I don't drink these types of brews in the warmer seasons as a rule of taste/pleasure, and some were just too damn brutal fresh.
