Ya I don't get what y'all are complaining about. The Anniversaries have always been 6 per case (as long as Ive known) and most places only get one case. That wont quite to how much of Sucaba/Parabola/DDBA they get.

I'm with @aggie20031 on this one. Just cause they reduced the bottles/case doesn't mean they will get the same number of cases. I'm sure they will get twice the number of cases now for the same number of bottles.

Fewer bottles per case =/ Less Production.

 

The Sunrise Mini Mart event next Tuesday looks pretty awesome. I'm really wondering how crazy it might get even at 2pm on a random Tuesday.

I am curious if they will have more than they got for the 17th anniversary just due to "Mr Walker" being there himself....

It doesn't equate to less beer produced, but it stands to reason that you would decrease the size of the case in an effort to distribute to more stores.

 

River City Market on South Congress just got in 6 bottles. $18.39.

 

Has it shown up anywhere else in Austin? Not looking for specifics (unless you want to message me), but curious if I should make some rounds today or just wait until tomorrow.

 

I've heard of River City Market and South Lamar Wine and Spirits. Considering most places are just getting 6 bottles, it's hard to say if they're still around.

 

Yeah..I live north and did not feel like going down south for a bottle. I guess I will just see if I get it. Worst case, I just order it online.
