I'm in the process of getting set up to do 6 gallons of a Pale Ale I'm calling Fruit Salad at the moment. I'm foregoing the bittering addition and using Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy - a total of around 6 oz between 15-0.

Then on either Sunday or Monday, 4 gallons of Citra/2Row Smash. It's time to start brewing some spring beers. Hopefully these will be hitting their stride right around early May. Which is right around the time all I want to do is sit at various outdoor places and drink beer.

What's on your schedule for the first weekend of Spring?

Blonde Ale. Batch 1 of 4 for a wedding reception. It's the first time I wish I had the kettle capacity for bigger batches.

Bottling a wee heavy that's been sitting on oak. Racking a cider onto so different oak. I want to brew, but don't think I can schedule the time for it.

I will be kegging the supposed to be Saison that is more of a Dubbel (1.012 FG) that I brewed 3 weeks ago from the same mash as the APA Stout. Need to get some oak onto a Wee Heavy that is too sweet and flabby in the finish. Planting new hops as the bulk of mine died last year after I moved them in late May, never took root and just rotted away. Got 2# of Amarillo I gotta go pick up as well.

Brewed 6 gallons of extract IPA mid week to serve as a starter for a 17+ gallon batch of SMaSH Barleywine.

The extract IPA is 90% Briess Wheat extract, 10% corn sugar, 6 oz of hops at flameout with a 30 minute whirlpool/hop stand, fermented with WY1968/WLP002 at 68F, and is a test case for switching my hoppy beer yeast from WLP090 to WY1968/WLP002 (Beers coming out too dry).

SMaSH barleywine is another Halcyon and EKG smash (4 hour boil) with WY1968/WLP002 to fill the pull I'm taking out of my rum barrel and have more non barrel aged barley wine for blending.

Plus cleaning 4 kegs and bottling the uber offensive maple, bacon, coffee, chocolate breakfast imperial milk stout I haven't got around to bottling.

First time brewing since August (rotator cuff surgery sucks), and I'm back with a modified version of the Nicie Spicie recipe from Zymurgy, so I'll have some peppery-citrusy thing for the upcoming warm spring days/summer nights. Soon after I'll be brewing up a CAP using S-189 that I washed and sat back last year. That'll be a good test to see if my yeast survive my washing technique.

No brewing for me, but I'll be turning up the temp in my fermentation chamber. Exciting stuff.

Thinking about doing a kolsch, and probably get my sour going for the ECY01 I've got in the fridge.

I want to do a pale or something with this vermont(conan) yeast, but I don't know if I feel like another hoppy beer right now.

Probably the kolsch, the flemish red sour, and maybe some simple clean pils or something to lager away for mid summer.

Or another berliner, the flemish, and something to use up some hops like a rye pale or something.

Changed my mind. Brewing a peated porter that I probably won't touch until first frost next fall. Bottling a hopfenweizen. The wee heavy and cider can sit for another week.

No brewing for me either. Ordered some ingrediants for next weekend. Had a long week at work so the weekend will be spent drinking a copious amount of homebrew, watching the ncaa tournament and dying 100+ times in Dark Souls 2.

I think I am going to brew an American Wheat this weekend. It is starting to heat up down here and I am starting to crave one.

Bottling a brown ale, but no brewing for probably another week or two. Nelson/Citra pale wheat is up next.

How much longer can I push off bottling my sour??? I wanna drink it but I dont wanna bottle it.

Checked the gravity on my wedding beer. Looks like I hit my gravity numbers pretty close (it finished a point or two lower than I was hoping) going to keg and dry hop these up once I can kill off my DIPA and Smoked Beer.

I have a friend of mine working on some labels, no idea what they look like yet but his work that I have seen in the past has been great. Very excited about these!

I want to do that but since I only have 2 taps I feel obligated to finish it off in a reasonable timeframe to open up a tap for more variety. I also kind of want to hold on to a few bottles and see how they do over time.

Once this whole pesky wedding thing gets paid off I am building a 4 tap keezer and will hopefully not have these problems anymore. I guess first world problems need a first world solution huh?

Well that certainly wasn't the easiest brew-day I've had. In addition to my own mash tun ineptitude, I managed to spill .75 oz of Citra while learning that FoodSavers can be finicky. On the upside, my office now smells friggen awesome.

Everything else went pretty much to plan. All my numbers were within .2, so I'll take it. It's now sealed up and on the porch to cool the rest of the way to pitching temp.

Good luck all, especially you, @JohnSnowNW.
