The 2005 I had recently was an O'Hanlon's brewed one and though fine, I don't think they will ever measure up to an Eldridge Pope TH.

Had some great beers over the weekend at BeerTown Malton beer festival. The stand out beers for me where The Kernel Amarillo IPA, Magic Rock Salty Kiss and weird beard little things that kill. I was also given a bottle of Hastings porter which was amazing so much flavour for a relatively low ABV beer. Oh i was also gifted a can of heady topper, I will be cracking that open tonight.

Ahhh...the 1994 TH is magnificent! It's obviously strong but the dang flavours get in the way so I don't even notice it. Until I finish it, I'm sure. Weird that there is no bottling number. The 1991 and 1988 I had did but they were nip bottles vs this 330ml. As did the 2000s I had.

OK ive had the Heady, it was Awesome so tasty, the aroma was even better a beer that I could sniff all day so much hop character. Is it the best IPA in the world I'm not sure but it is up there with my favourites.

That Mallinsons was my first, I must confess, but it was top notch. I have one or two more of their beers stashed away somewhere....

Right, on to Brewdog's Old World IPA. Hoppy enough, but flat. Booooooooo

I take it with Suffolk Strong, St. Edmund's Golden Beer & Noble Lager 330ml bottles
Greene King want a piece of the Craft scene.

Last week I had the Suffolk Strong and it was a trip down Strong Ale Lane of yesteryear

    Having the Golden tonight
now have I got a bottle of the Noble Lager with the wrong labels
or have big hops destroyed my tastebuds?
