so it has finally happened, the unfortunate experience of having a box swiped from my porch. my wife called me and asked if i was expecting anything since she saw some shady character parked in front of our house putting something in the trunk and then speeding off. i was...it was a box of the bell's new tulips and other swag :slight_frown:.

after making a slew of phone calls to find out what to do and filing a claim i was instructed to have the shipper file the claim. i called bell's, and within minutes was told not to fret a new box will be on it's way to me today if they can get it packed in time or tomorrow the latest (and it will be sent with signature required as i requested) and that they'd deal with ups and the claim. hell of a team they've got there. was really bummed after eagerly awaiting new bell's glassware to find out that my precious swag was swiped, bell's turned a horrible situation into a pleasant experience. i raise my glass to bell's, now if only they could get those beers on my shelf, then i'd throw all my business their way. cheers bell's, you guys rock.

it's like you were eavesdropping on my phone call with her when she told me. the odd part was that UPS said they put the box on top of another box. i called fedex to confirm that no one sent anything my way as i wasn't expecting anything. so not sure what the story is with that other phantom box that no one can account for except for the UPS driver who delivered my box from Bell's. either way, bell's already sent tracking for a new box (with signature conf at my request). Thanks, Bell's...you guys are even better than your beer, and your beer is amazing!

Got some stuff ship from Bell's a few years ago. Had a problem with the card I used. They called me in minutes to square it away. Awesome Brewery, wish they could send there beers to Mass.

yeah, i was a bit bummed about that, but with a 1 year old at home sometimes answering the phone is not possible. it all went down within about 10 or 15 minutes of when the box got dropped off. guy was probably following the truck just swiping boxes.

argh...replacement box arrived with a broken glass. was pretty shocked at the packaging (and surprised that both weren't broken). they were loose with some bubble wrap:

i've ordered glassware from bell's in the past and pretty sure that they were always packed with peanuts or something. seems an odd way to ship glassware...at least one survived. i emailed them to let them know. i'm not worried about things not working out, but bummed to have to have sent another email after they were so amazing in getting a replacement out immediately.

Wayyyy too much space going on in that box. Looks like a new person packed it or something.

yeah, that's what bell's said when they saw the picture...they said that they are looking into how it got packed that way.

is that a loose bottle opener in the top left of the box? Was it bouncing all around in there and took out the glass?
