I think I heard Simcoe too, I'll ask next time I stop in.

I didn't like that one as much. I mean I still had 3 pours of it, but it wasn't the best in the series. I will look for another beer that is all Amarillo and see if I like it, maybe I am not a fan of the flavor profile.

Societe brewing the bachelor Amarillo.....is very good...I gave up on Noble and "showers" average to good stuff but not worth going out of my way

So who's going to get some Noble's Man Milk tomorrow?

Man, they really needed a different name for that one.

You could always get some Bruery Summer's Eve to wash the taste out

Anybody interested in a growler fill of Amarillo Showers? Noble Ale's facecrook page showing they are doing 2L & 1L growler fill of Amarillo Showers right now until its gone. No takers? Simcoe is on deck.

They should have made fills available from the get go (for freshness).

Then it would have eaten into the sales of bottles. $9 for 22oz or $20 for 64oz? Yeah...

I didn't dislike the beer but it was the lesser of the three released so far, which is the main reason why there's growler fills of it now.

Had the Simcoe Showers on cask last night, really enjoyed it. Better than Amarillo, just a notch below both Citra and Nelson. Which I think has more to do with my preference for those hops.

Not sure, left around 9. Wasn't too busy at that point, but could have picked up.

It's a good thing other notable breweries will fill growlers of the good shit while also selling bottles.

Noble's growler strategy is head scratching, to say the least.

I agree 110%! I live near Noble, and drive right past it at least twice a week. I love a lot of their beer, but haven't even bothered getting one of their growlers because it just wouldn't be worth it. If I was craving Big Whig, the bottle is reasonably priced, so I don't see the point of a growler for the 3 regulars. Growler fills of at least the frequent things on tap that aren't rarities, like Earl's Grey Dinghy, is the least they should offer.
