I was in Group A. Very well run and not overly crowded event. 3 minute wait MAX for any taps. "Beer-check" was a great idea. Color coded Easter Egg rarities were done right. Almost everyone got the opportunity to buy a rare beer of some kind to go.

Overall great event! Cheers and congrats, Chris!

Really sad I couldn't attend this event. Anyone want to make me more jealous and go through some of the highlight beers?

    Highlights for me...
    Proprietors BCS

New Belgium Blackberry Whiskey BA Love was the best IMO.

Vanilla Sump was also very good, nice and smooth.

FW Agrestic & Bell's Quinannan Fall's were also quite nice.

Basically everything there was great though. I missed out on Double Citra.

Bible Belt was underwhelming when compared to Bomb!, but still quite good.

I completely agree with your evaluation...so, so disappointed with Bible Belt...all Prairie beers fwiw...didn't try the Bells...seemed out of place for this event?

Yeah I think people skipped the Bell's because its "just a lager" but it was actually a very good beer. Lots of flavor, crisp and refreshing, I thought it was great. A great summer beer.

Was able to try 14/16 available. All were awesome. First time tasting Proprietor's, and it was out of this world. :grimacing:

    Thanks again Chris, and congrats!

tie between whiskey love and double citra for best of the event. really wanted to hate hf due to 'autotune of hops' citra, but i couldn't. phenomenal mouthfeel; such a wonderful pillowy bitterness.

Thanks Chris for an awesome event today! First time trying Prop was great, Double Citra killed it and Vanilla Sump was so creamy smooth. A well deserved congrats on a fantastic year and many more for The Beer Temple!!

I personally saw Prop, Cherry Rye, BCBCS, BCBBW, Péché Mortel, Abraxas, Parabola, Merkin, FW XVII, and I'm sure there were others.

Hope everyone landed a good egg in the Easter egg hunt. Me and wifey landed a prairie puncheon and bramble rye. Thanks Chris for the wonderful event and carrying middle brow. Peace and love, peace and love!!!

Interesting how what (most) previously were categorized as 'uncommon' quickly turn into 'rarities' these days.

Rare, uncommon, whatever. Anything tagged with an orange sticker you could buy one of, period. All those fell into the same category today.

Great event Chris! Got to try everything I wanted which was about 15/16 of the beers available (I'll leave the 1 beer I didn't get unnamed, not trying to bash it). Very well run event by Chris and all the people helping out whether it be the people pouring, bringing out water etc. Ppl working the event and attendees were all friendly and polite (except the 1 guy that got kicked out during 2nd session).

    Highlights for me:
    HF Double Citra
    Sump De Vanilla
    Prop
    Free stickers
    Water

    Lowlights:
All the female attendees seemed to be there with there BF/Husband
(typical at the majority of beer events)

Also, good to meet @sbxx and talk again with @robbiemoy13 @jegross2

    Good times!
