I have no problem sharing with people that appreciate good beer. I have a spot in a very experienced tasting group and what goes around comes around. However, I have no problem going into the cellar and grabbing a whale and drinking it alone. I really enjoy it to be honest.

I often put down bombers all the time. I've started sharing with a couple of guys at work since he has hooked me up with his home-brew (damn good). If I get anything rare I usually share with my father-in-law and two brothers. I usually max out my allocations with The Bruery, drink two and give one away. Most of the Firestone beer I drink is in bombers. The trick is to make sure you don't have to go anywhere so you can take your time and enjoy it, tri-tip BBQ, and good music.

Funny, but for me it is very rare to share a bottle - which is of course part of the reason I avoid bombers when possible. My wife drinks wine and my kids are 4 and 6, so they wont be drinking for a few more years. These are the people I spend 95% of my time with. That said, and like the fella above me, I have no desire to share my sours.

I am a selfish bastard when it comes to my really good stuff. I'll share bottles of SNPA ('cause they are cheap).

Usually share my big hauls, not many that I've hogged to myself, but a few that I have are:
    Intuition Underdark
    Dogfish Head 75minute IPA
    Uinta Labyrinth

I woke up and drank a bottle of Darkness all by myself. I did the same with Speedway stout.
The only beers I have my wife try are from Lost Abbey, and the Russian River sours. Needless to say, she fell in love with RR.

When I am Camp Ripley for my weekend drill, I do share some IPA's with some of the guys though.

None of my other friends really drinks craft beer or appreciate it like I do so I am stuck drinking everything by myself. I usually drink half the bomber, cork it up then make sure to drink the other half within 24 hrs.
My rule of sharing is, if that friend has never heard of the "special beer" before or heard of the brewery then he prolly doesn't appreciate it enough to deserve a some. I wish I knew of some beer drinking groups or clubs near me where I can drink with others who know about their beers and the breweries.

I made the mistake of breaking out a BCBBWS for a new neighbor that moved into my building as he said that he was a craft beer lover. He took a swig and made a face then said it was awful. I was like...ummm...you like craft beer doe? He says yeah...like Killians. Face-palm. Never again.

I took an Old Stock 2011 Cellar Reserve to the face 2 weeks ago. That weighed in at 16.5%. That is the heftiest I've done solo but I watched a buddy of mine CHUG a World Wide Stout! He couldn't put together a full sentence after that.

I generally wish I had more people to share with. There are some - like my first and only Cantillon - that I keep to myself, but I just don't really have any friends locally. My wife generally doesn't go for the big beers, which means it either gets re-sealed or I get drunk. I've gotten better at resealing.

And @Josbor11, 22 ounces of 15ish% beer is roughly four beers. As someone that's 125 lbs, that is just not fucking happening on a work night, and its pretty close to the equivalent of 100% of my consumption on a Saturday.

Started off only sharing big bottles, but I've been recently taking them on during a Sat or Sun when I have a few hours because have too many in my cellar. Plus, sometimes hard to plan meeting up with friends and then driving home on top of that. I've done a Founders Frangelic Mountain (Super Bowl), Smoke Porter & Bolt Cutter. Before those, I've drank Parabola and Sucaba by myself, but those are only 22oz. Recent 22oz were Yeti, He'Brew Reunion Ale (2012), Killer Penguin, Dark Hallow, Coffee Break Abduction, a few Big Bad Baptist, BCS Backyard Rye (this past Sat) & I'm sure others.

I waited as long as I could hold out to try and share my first and so far only Cantillon, a Lou Pepe Framboise. Couldn't schedule a trip to see my friend 3 hours away due to a pregnant wife and then newborn, so caved and had it myself. My wife hated the sip she tasted.

Oh well, just visited my friend and he did get some Arctic Soiree, Bo & Luke and Brett the Hipman Hop from me. I would prefer to share in almost all cases, as it's just more fun.

    I like to share.

I wish I had a larger group to share with (really, only a couple of people who would truly enjoy it, but my sister in law's new boyfriend should be a good addition to that group). I've been holding on to a few bombers of stuff that, for me, I consider a bit more special than more easily acquired beer because there is one guy I think would appreciate it.

I went to a Christmas party that I knew was going to have a big turnout, and I thought about bringing some of the stuff I was holding on to - the host would have appreciated and others would have appreciated - but these were bottles my non beer drinking sister picked up for me in NYC and while I want to share them, I want to be able to get more than 2-3 ounces of the bottle. It's a little selfish, but I want to get to drink just a bit more of it.

Give me a group of 4-6 people, and I'd have happily opened it then.

So, I think I'm somewhere in the middle. Small group sharing of the stuff I'm most excited about, larger group sharing of less limited stuff.

I just got a bomber of Killer Penguine Barleywine Ale and have no one to share it with, so I'll be drinking it on my own.
