    Bitter Valentine for me tonight... first time, and it's quite good, but after all the hops i've consumed over the last week, i think i need to step away from DIPAs for a couple of days to recuperate.

    Wednesday is ALWAYS Mug Club night for me at Founders. I went to the tap room and enjoyed:
    • Empire Strikes Bitter: Just OK to me, got better with every sip, but nothing to rave about. No "Galactic Ale" to me anyway.
    • Red's Rye
    • Porter
    • All Day X2
    Always a great night at Founders, but you can't beat $2 Pints in the Mug Club!

    Very similar to Hop 15, not sure why they release these so close together. A little less sweet caramel malt and heat, and a little more tropical fruit then Hop 15. Another solid IPA from Port.

    White IPAs seem to be the newest fad these days. I gave a firm thumps up to Deschutes Chainbreaker; is that one tickling your fancy?

    my fancy has been tickled, massaged and spanked. i still like the boulevard colab no.2 better, but this is tasty. really like the yeast working its magic.

    Anyone who has had this think it tastes similar to a fresh 120 Minute? If so, would it follow that Double Crooked Tree would get sweeter and smoother with some age like a 120 Minute?
