After having problems with my online fedex registration, and pickup planning, my box will be shipped this friday, with just over 180 oz in total. My pinky tells me that I should make an happy BA

I mistakenly found out that shipping FedEx ground you can't get a pickup the same day unless it's submitted very early in the morning. But quick delivery for me, picked up Toronto 10am, delivered next day to Montreal at 9am.

Err...well, my box was deliver but:

"Left at front door. Signature Service not requested."

I knew I forgot to check something! Should I warn my target? Or can everyone east of Manitoba who is waiting for a box maybe call home? :stuck_out_tongue:

Think you should warn your target, as a box at my front door wouldn't survive 5 minutes, I think. Might be the same for others, living downtown

LOL! You might want to ask the other guy what your box is doing on his front steps! :sunglasses:

tbadiuk - no worries my front door is safe and when I got from work it was still there. Opened it up and was blown away...you were way beyond generous and included both some old favourites and some new interesting beers.
    • FFF Zombie Dust
    • Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout
    • Bruery Mischief Gone Wild
    • Half Burlywine (greeen wax), Pints Saison de la Ceinture Flechee and Demeter's Harvest
    • Firestone Abacus
    • Founders Porter
    • Hanssens Oude Kriek
    • Boon Oude Gueze

I can't for the life of me figure out how to attach a picture without first uploading to a website and I can't get the attachment stuff to work...(someone want to help me?)

Glad you like them! One thing, I think there should be two more bottles? That is, I'm hoping FedEx don't help themselves or something broke? HP Rigamarole and another lambic should be in there I think.

On the attachments: I had to use a 3rd party image hosting site, upload my image, then copy the link and paste it using insert link/image I think...

Was 10 min late getting my box in today so it's officially out tomorrow. The long weekend pooches things up a little, so it'll be arriving next week. 274 oz heading East!

    Picture is working now.

I have to apologize for the 10 Bitter Years. This batch is absolutely terrible. I am drinking one right now and it is nothing like the last couple of batches. It is barely a passable DIPA. Hopefully future batches return to the beer I know and love. If the next batch is back to normal, I will send you one to make up for the bottle that I sent you.

This was my 2nd trade, and I am really thinking I was completely out of my league on this... None the less, the package is at the post ready to be picked up. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

Don't worry about that. This BIF has a wide variety of BAs in it. Everything from new traders to people with huge impressive cellars. I expected a few great boxes but don't let that discourage you if you didn't have rare beers or beer from south of border to include in your package. The diversity is one of the things that makes this BIF so great.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Bowmanville isn't really a hub for rare beers, and I might get to the States once a year...

A side note on how damn expensive everything is in Canada.

I just got a FedEx invoice.

The cost to ship a 6 bottle shipper from Mississauga to Barrie: $14.
The cost to ship an identical sized (and slightly lighter) box from Niagara Falls, NY to Los Angeles, CA: $15.
    Unreal.
